Account with problems caused by AO

I bought a AO for my account, and when I use it it didn't work, then I went back to using my old AO, but not ta more running anything, nor my HUD, car, motorcycle, shoes do not work any more!

Did you relog? Sometimes SL just doesn't let go of animations, even if you take them off. Used to be, you could always tell who had been at a club dancing because they were still dancing, even in another sim. They had to relod to stop. ..just saying.

All those things function with scripts; if the parcel you’re in has scripts running blocked, they will only work partially or not at all (there are several exceptions to this, but we’ll skip them). This would be indicated by an icon in the upper side of your viewer, next to the menus and sim-parcel name, representing a papyrus with a block sign.

Go elsewhere with no such restriction(*) and try again your AO, shoes, etc.

 

(*) If you’re experiencing any kind of lag, after teleporting to each new parcel wait a full minute for the “scripts blocked’ icon to appear / disappear, since it doesn’t always update instantly.

Reminds me of an IM I got today from someone who said the house she bought from me seemed too "delicate" because when she took it into inventory, she lost it.  You would not believe the alleged far reaching powers possessed by content people buy.

It is not your AO causing your problems with your other things.  I have a few Vista AO's and never had this happen.  At most as Bobby said, you may have to relog to stop the animations when you take it off but if you turn it off before you detach it you can avoid that.

If your other things still don't work it is due to other causes most likely you are in an area where no scripts can run.  If that is not the case then contact the creators or their support groups for help with that.
