I am having serious trouble

I keep trying to activate the second life viewer but it keeps freezing at the stage "Initializing  VFS". My computer overheated last time and the program calls it a crash and gives me the option to send crash reports, but it can't send any. Is there something wrong with my account? what can I do??

I have tried emptying the cache as I have found on the other topics and its still no good.

There's a bit more to it that just clearing cache as the following thread suggests; and if this works - thank George  : )

if its a laptop , and not a gaming laptop i really wouldnt play SL on it at all to be honest
