How do i apply a texture to clothing??

Please help, Im trying to add a texture to Kemono Kneesocks. I have my custom texture already made, but I dont know how to apply it. Sorry, Im a n00b and i havent played SL in some time.

It's easy to use an uploaded texture to create a new clothing layer.  You just select the + tool in Edit Outfit to create a new clothing layer, and then drop your clothing texture into the texture box in the window that opens up.

But it sounds as though you are trying to apply a texture to a mesh attachment.  For this, the mesh item has to be modifiable, AND you have to have the UV map for the item.  Some creators provide this, but others do not.  You'll have to contact the creator of the avatar and see if they will give, or sell, you the UV map.

log into Sl and press the keys

control and F

that will open the SL search.

type into it, Help at Caledon
