That card supports DirectX but not Open GL technology.  SL uses Open GL.  There are AMD cards that support both such as

5000 Series:

  • 5850, 5870, 5970

and the R7 and R9 series

I have an AMD Radeon R9 270x.  I can run SL at the Ultra High graphics with advance lighting and all the bells and whistles without any problem even with my draw distance set at the max amount.  It is in the same price range as the one you are looking at.

On the AMD homepage you can see that OpenGL 4.2 is supported (http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/desktop/7000/). But the card is an older one, but will run SL pretty ok. I have a friend with the same card and he can run at least High settings and better. So far I remember, he even runs on Light&Shadow, even Ultra almost all the time.  If you have the right cpu. But you need to make sure you can update to the newest driver from AMD, because older drivers can make issues with some mesh clothes.
