two friends are having issues with cross hairs being visible.....

So ive talked them thro turning crosshairs off and they say they are hitting apply but within about 10 minutes their cross hairs come back... two friends same issue..... Anyone got a clue why? :matte-motes-grin: thanks in advance for your time..

I assume that you mean the "Look At Me" crosshairs. If you are using the Firestorm viewer, you should be able to disable them in Preferences >>> Privacy >>> Look At.  Just UNcheck the box for Show Lookat Targets, and Check  all other boxes.  If you're using the Linden Lab V3 viewer, that option is not in Preferences.  However, you can still make the changes from your Develop menu (CTRL + Shift + Q) >>> Avatar >>> Show Look At andShow Point At.

There is a brand new version of the Firestorm viewer out.  If they are using that, they should report this behavior as a bug to the Firestorm team.  Their bug tracking system is here: http://jira.phoenixviewer.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
