Walking in one place problem... Help?

I, having problems just walking, when i walk straight i walk in place, when i stop i jump places, only when i walk side ways i move but never straight, any helps?

(Also i dunno how to reply to previously answered post, help there works too)

That's a moderately severe lag problem.  You have an unreliable Internet connection.  Unfortunately, you have fairly limited options.  Open your Statistics Bar (CTRL + Shift + 1) and look at the Sim Ping time near the top of the display.  Most of us un Norht America have times in the range of 75ms or less.  That's the time it takes for a signal to travel between your veiwer and the SL servers.  If you're in Europe, the times hover around 150 ms, which starts to be problematic.  If you're in Japan or Australia, you curse a lot because your normal ping times are over 200 ms.  The longer the ping time, the more your viewer and the servers are out of sync.  If the times get much longer -- if you have a wierd ISP or are using satellite Internet, for example -- you crash.

You can also get some of the same effects if you have packet loss over more than a few tenths of a percent.  You CAN do something about that, by being sure that your router is rebooted regularly and isn't ancient, and by being sure that you have good cables and connections.  Avoid wireles if you can.
