2 512s of Premium Land, please help!

My bf and I just bought 2 side by side parcels of 512s and are premium members. How do you group the land or did it? Do you join it or what exactly do you do? Thanks for any help.

Create a group that has you & your boyfriend as co-owners. Then each of you can deed your parcels to the group & join them into one parcel.

As long as all your land is group owned, you can also buy 10% more land in the same region without paying more in tier fees. Even if this extra bit of land is not adjacent to your main parcel, it would allow you to use a few more prims for free.

The important thing to do here is - once both of you are in the group, you open the land panel, pick the "General" tab, "Set" the group, click "Deed to Group," "Owner makes contribution with deed," and lastly click the "Deed" button.

As long as you take these steps, your tier usage will never spike up.

The best part is you even get a 10% bonus on tier when you use a group. You'll both have enough left over that you could get another 48 meters between the two of you. This can be nice if you want a mini parcel on another sim for store boxes or experiments.
