How people sell in yard sale?

I visit a lot of yard sale, it's a big place with small cheap stuff.. It's stuff of the most successful and talented sellers in second life.

There is one thing that I don't understand .. someone buys their stuff and sell them at a yard sale with the price he chooses. my friend tried to do it too, but the product is impossible for Sale, so how all this people able to sell ?

stuff like hair, pets animation, beds, chairs, and other things..

Do they asked the approval of the creator before selling or otherwise they do ?
