cannot recieve a gift cause of maturity problems

My friend wants to send me a gift and it says the next:  Nelli Bowenford can not accept items of this maturity level.

 

everything in my profile is as it should be, but im a free user.

Check to make sure that your maturity preferences are set in all three places:

1. In Preferences, General tab
2. In the in-world Search
3. On the Marketplace

Mt girlfreind has a similar problem on a number of her alts, she has all maturity values set correctly and can buy adult items  herself on each alt but I am unable to send her adult items. LLs response was, it has to be your fault . she has called them I have called them we have both placed tickets and still the problem which is NOT LLs fult persists.

Being a free user (basic as opposed to premium) shouldn't affect your abilities to purchase or receive items that are Adult rated if, as Lindal says, you've ensured you've ticked all the options boxes in all the right places.

The only thing you can do in this case is send your girlfriend enough lindens to cover the cost of buying those items for herself. It will still be your gift to her.
