Jeffrey....oh, never mind.

Delilah, I've had this same problem from time to time.  One day my shoes are positioned perfectly, the next they are not.  Be sure you are not only wearing the correct alpha for your shoes, but ALSO that you are not wearing any OTHER alpha, one that may cut off more of your ankle.

If you're sure your alphas are correct, just right click the shoe and use the positioning arrows to move it back into contact with your ankle.  Repeat for the other shoe.  Adjust your Hover (Edit Shape, Body Tab, last slider) to get your feet on the ground, if necessary.

You'll probably have to move everything back again the next time you wear those shoes, but that's SL for you!
