How do you make your own avatar render in the first person view?

Hi,

Many apologies if this is in the wrong place! This is my first time posting on the forums.

 

I've not played SL in years and I've forgotten a lot of stuff. 

 

One thing I remember is that there was an option so that, when you went into first person view, you could see your avatar - your hands, body, etc. I was wondering if anyone knew where that option was in the vanilla viewer?

I ask because it makes gun play a helluva lot more immersive/cool looking when you can see your gun! :)
