Cosplay Costumes ?

I was wondering where i could find cosplay costume in SL for fun and show off (without weapons tbh) ?

As someone who is familiar with cosplay in RL I wouldn't call anything in SL cosplay. Cosplay is based on the idea to bring a character to life....in the real world. Who is it cosplay if you have the unlimited option to basically just copy one digital character onto another?

The whole "show off" part wouldn't work either in a virtual world, because nobody here would be impressed. Thats the difference to cosplay in RL, where most people have worked on the costumes themselves, have done the make up, styled the wig...and found solutions to many construction problems that occur when you try to build something from a fantasy world in the real one.

The biggest problem you face in SL with "cosplay" is, that accuracy may make the person selling the costumes target to copyright violation claims.

There are so many places and items. You can do a search for "Cosplay" on marketplace then look under the apparel, accesories and/or hair. If you are inworld search for cosplay costumes under places.

You can also post this in the Wanted section of the forums. In that forum, actual store names can be posted. There are so many different options, do you have a specific look in mind? If you do, post it in the wanted section.

Sometimes you would have to get different items from different creators to compile a certain look. It all depends on what you have in mind.
