I have a NON-US Paypal account (verified), can I use it to fund my Second Life account?

I have a NON-US Paypal account (verified, there is US$ in account etc), can I use it to fund my Second Life account? 

I want to use it to buy Linden$ on Lindex.

I did everything it said (I think) here:

I cannot find anywhere on this page that it says anything about "Only US Paypal accounts" 

 

And it appears all set up in my Paypal under "pre-approved payments"

 

But when I try to buy Lindens here I get message:

“We are unable to complete your request. You can't exchange currency. Please click here for more information.”

 

So am I right that any Paypal account, should be able to be set up as a billing method?

PayPal can be used to buy and sell L's.  To use your PayPal balance when making transactions with Second Life, it must be in USDollaqrs. You can convert your balance to US Dollars at paypal.com (PayPal may impose exchange fees).

As Amethyst stated you will have to convert your PayPal payments to US currency. Try this link and hopefully it will help you setting that up in your account.
