torpeado my last question  i hit the 7 instead of the 3  when i was making my sl account..  "is a dumbass who uses her tablet  for  almost all her web activity" <has fat fingers and hits  the wrong keys a lot<

I do that.  My fat fingers hit between keys that are right next to each other all the time.

Anyway, if you are finding that the options for indicating a maturity level in Preferences, in Search, and in Marketplace are all grayed out, you should probably open a support ticket using the category Account Issue.  Explain the problem and see if Linden Lab can help you sort it out.

Sure.  Of course, the 7 and the 3 are a loooong ways apart, either on the top number row of a keyboard or on a numeric keypad.

So, when you file your Support Case, Linden Lab is going to require proof of your Real Life age...a scanned copy of your drivers license or birth certificate.  Be prepared to provide such proof, or stick to the General sims.
