Yup.  Easy as pie.  Well, pie isn't easy unless you are a decent cook, but this is.

1. Create a group.

2. Make your own alt (not your friend) a co-owner of the group. The reason for doing that is that a group must always have a least two members or it will be deleted permanently within 48 hours.  Your own alt is the only person you can always trust not to leave the group unexpectedly or use the group for evil purposes.  :matte-motes-evil:

3. Stand in your house and open World >>> About Land >>> General.

4. SET your parcel to the group you just created.  (Not DEED, SET.  You can't deed a Linden Home anyway.)

5. Navigate to the Options tab in About Land and check the boxes to let only group members create objects or bring objects into your parcel.

6. Invite your friend to join the group in the Everyone or Officer role.

Incidentally, your friend can visit you without going to all of this trouble.  You only need to do this if you want your friend to be able to rez objects there, change the music stream, etc.
