arabellajones
A lot depends on the operating system your computer is using. For example, there is Windows Firewall, which is accessed through the Control Panel list in the Start Menu for Windows 7. You would need to check that the correct version of SLvoice is allowed access, so you need to know where your viewer program is. That seems to be something that no firewall software handles well: yopu have to look for yourself and take notes. It's all a bit intimidating. It doesn't help that some changes are being made, a new version of SLvoice and all the hassles that can bring. I'm having some more general problems this morning, what looks like a bad connection, and it needs a bit more knowledge and experience just to check things. But I am getting the same error message as you, and a few others.
