I tried to purchase Linden with my debit card yesterday and I did not get anything. Bank has dollar

I tried to purchase Linden Dollars and nothing has come thru.  I did not have my account set to use my card for this but I did correct that this morning and still nothing

Debit cards don't always work well on the LindeX, although some people have no trouble at all.  It's really set up for credit cards and PayPal.  The issue, I think, is that at least some debit cards don't transfer funds quickly enough to satisfy LL's accounting system.  You can get a hint of that from the way that LL describes the rules for using PayPal: "To use your PayPal account with Linden Lab, it must be verified and be capable of making instant transfers."  Even if your own debit card will eventually work here, it's also possible that you simply haven't waited long enough before using it.   It is usually wise to relog after registering a new card in the system, and it can take as much as a day to make it active.
