Streaming live television on SL

Hi everyone,

I have been searching on the internet but can't find what I am looking for.

We are planning on playing the World Championship football live in our club in SL.

I have a link to a website where you watch the matches via the internet but don't know how to get it played on a SL screen. I have found topics about music streams and videos, but not for a stream which is live.

 

Anyone any idea?

Unless I am very much mistaken (and I will certainly be quickly corrected if I am), you should be able to show the world cup via an authorised web link on a prim in world.

Legally you probably can't stream it in-world.

That being said, if you have the bandwidth and a capture card you can stream using e.g. VLC and MoaP.
