I was also wondering, but it seems it is like it is... usually something like that takes one hour or so... but I have not been able to log in for almost half of the day already. :(

P.S.: I also don't know why the system calls me a new resident, I am in SL for almost 7 years, haha!

I have been having the same issue ... It is 2:30 EST ... so that is 11:30 PST? ... I was looking for some answers ... I did find a post on the grid saying that there was an unexpected restart at 7ish PST this morning but did not get any details. Just to wait for further notice.

I have been tryin to get on sl for 2 1/2 hours and still cant get in

having the same trouble since an hour!

but I always get the messagen to check my internet connection after the log-in stopped at Region Handshake. but it still works as usual. I am using Firestorm X64, V4.6.5.40833.

I've installed SL Viewer V 3_7_8_289922_i686 but the trouble continues at the same point when logging in.
