Voice Chat Major Problem

Question

  • 0

Hello Dakota, try shutting down your computer. Unplug your modems and routers for one full minute, then plug them back in.

Start your computer and check the voice recording is working before you start Second Life.

Before you log in, Clear the Cache from Outside Second Life You can check the Disk Cache location from the login screen Edit > Preferences > Network

Check Preferences > Voice Chat > Device Settings to make sure you are seeing the green bars in the Input Level

Log into Region Voice Echo Canyon, see Changing your login location and let your Inventory fully load.

There were some Voice issues reported earlier this week on SL Grid Status If you report this to Support at https://support.secondlife.com they can escalate to Engineering if it's a Grid-wide issue.

Hope this helps
