SLurl in browser isn't working anymore.

On any given SLurl page I'll click the "Teleport now" button and it takes me to a "file not found" page.

Firefox can't find the file at secondlife://Zion/96/115/758.

    * Could the item have been renamed, removed, or relocated?
    * Is there a spelling, capitalization, or other typographical error in the address?
    * Do you have sufficient access permissions to the requested item?"

SLurls used to work for me and then suddenly stopped. I haven't the faintest idea why it's happening. The only changes I can think of that I made recently were updates to my viewer. But I've been doing that since I joined.

Usually a reinstall fixes that for me.

I forgot to add that I'm using vs 1.23 of the Emerald viewer. Would a reinstall still help?

Well firefox just updated itself with the new release. That is probably what broke it. So it is worth a try to conduct the old reinstall viewers thing. But I bet you will have to reinstall the LL viewer if that doesn't work.

Perhaps you should validate rather it works with the SL viewer first ?

Your firefox application link is pointing at the wrong thing. You probably updated firefox recently, which is known to lose links sometimes.

Go to tools->options->applications

In the list will be an entry on the left for "secondlife". On the right is the thing firefox wants to do when it sees slurls.

Make it point to Emerald (usually C:\Program Files\Greenlife Emerald Viewer\Emerald.exe).
