Is there anything you can do about a particular person who keeps harassing you?

I have muted and deleted this person. But then they get on an alt and keep it up. They have even stated they will make more alts to keep harassing me.

Make a new alt that he or she does not know about and use that or have them ip banned by reporting them and being specific about what they are doing.

If you are submitting abuse reports to Linden Lab, but they just keep creating a new alt, then the best form of action is inaction.

Mute/block, do nothing else, do not at all speak with them. If they get no reaction from you, then their efforts to harass you will be in vain.

The best way to handle griefing is to invest in weapons from the marketplace.  They are obviously legal since they are openly sold and a fee is collected by the Lindens for that sale.  So buy them and fire away.

If banning an account doesn't help, doesn't Linden Lab have the ability to ban a users IP range?

Weapons are not the answer. If they keep coming back for more, don't give them a reason to wind you up more. Besides, most SL weapons are made for Linden Damage Combat and meter based combat systems like VICE or CCS and some weapons even crash sims, so it's best you do not resort to using violance. 

It is better just to ignore them via blocking them every time they try to harass you. Continue to do this until the harasser has become completely board of trying.
