Yes, as I read the rules.  However, explicit sexual acts and language are verbotten.

I think you would be pushing it if they stripped completly and you advertised it as such.  Here's the policy

 Any Region must be designated Adult and therefore require account verification, if it advertises or publicly promotes the following:
- Representations of intensely violent acts, whether or notphoto-realistic (for example, depicting death, torture, dismembermentor other severe bodily harm)
- Photo-realistic nudity; photo-realistic means that an image either is or cannot be distinguished from a photograph
- Expressly sexually themed content, spaces or activities(whether or not photo-realistic); we will broadly define what is"sexually themed" to include any sexually oriented activities andconduct

 

You may trip over the "Photorealistic nuditiy" bit.

To put it in simpler terms:

"Mature" is now basically "R-rated"... Sexual themes, maybe a nipple or two, full-back nudity, suggestion of sex, etc. SL terms: You can go naked, just don't have on a Mature skin or any bits. (So should it be termed "Adult" skin now?)

"Adult" is NC-17 or NR ... Sex, Nudity, and the freedom to fornicate. LOL. Be as naked as you want with as many bits hanging off you as you want.

-Technically- full strip clubs have to be on Adult sims now. They're possibly letting people get away with strip clubs on "Mature" but only probably because no one has ARed them and a Linden hasn't shown up.

That sure would have an effect on a dancers emotes; they'd have to be pretty tame.

Gonna have to say strip club is ok as long as there is not the emotes for sexual activity.  Naturist resorts are allowed (I'm pretty sure) to be considered mature.  So as long as you don't show/promote overtly sexaul activity, intercourse or erect bits, I would think it would be ok.  Photorealistic nudity I believe to be uploading RL pictures to sl and using those.  Most avatar skins are not photorealistic with the bits or are they? I've never paid that close attention to see if the bits are cropped photos or painted.

Well Yes from my understanding a strip club can operate in Mature, Nudity and Sexual intentions are two diffrent things. I know some clubs in SL that had Linden Labs give them the ok to keep running, as long as Sexual content like emotes,  and sex on the dance floor are no longer present. SL an RL are like this with strip/dance clubs some strips clubs in RL say 21 and over due to drinking age, then you have a few non-drinking clubs that let 18 and up attend. Strip clubs in SL can be treated as similair   a club in mature can still strip and flirt, while a club in adult can also offer escorting services.

Also anything is ok in a mature sim if you don't advertise or publicly promote the activity, business, club, etc. The reason for this rule is because the Lindens don't want to interfere in personal sexual affairs of 2 people who may own a parcel and engage in various activities while at their home.

LL has a bizarre definition of the term "photorealistic".  As they use it, it means, "a photographic image of a real person".  Avatars, at the current level of realism, are not "photorealistic" depictions of human beings, no matter what language the skin manufacturers put in their advertising.

Even so, a full nudity strip club is pushing it.  There are forum posts and office hour conversations with Lindens that indicate it would be OK...but there are also documented instances of Lindens taking a look at a strip club and telling the owners they needed to move to Adult land.

M = Soft Porn (no erections)

A = XXX Porn

I think this sums up the rules very quickly. Basically M rating allows full nudity in clubs and other public places.Full nudity is perfectly fine in all Mature areas and I offer visual proof by visiting all the top rated nude beaches in SL -  totally nude and the best ones are rated M. One exception is no erections in public, so your strippers can not engage in simulated or actual sex, masturbation or ejaculation.

Also beware of clubs in Mature regions who want to place PG rules, no nudity, without the stigma of being a PG club.

 

Obviously, if you have a home on a Mature parcel, you can get freaky because it's not a public place.
