How can i tell what my IP address is in SL?

Just want to know if a prog is working.

 

Its for my own security.
I just don't trust having my IP out there lol.

It's the same whether you're connected to SL or not.

Any site you goto on the INTERNET, stores the IP address.  every place you visit.   so "hiding it for security" is just silly. 

 

and it does not change when you log into SL,  it is the same until you change it by restarting your modem(dsl) or changing your mac address (cable)  or if you have a static IP, calling you're provider and asking them to change it.
