What does L$ treshold and Health Treshold in audio/video options mean?

If you go to Edit - Preferences - Audio/Video, there's 2 options I don't get. Is it the volume?! I'm curious because it seems to be about something with money too (L$-Treshold).

Can anyone explain?

Hello Chakalak, from the article in Knowledge Base Preferences Window Guide

 

L$ Change Threshold - If you send or receive L$ in a transaction that's equal to or greater than this value, you'll hear a cha-ching! sound.

Health Change Threshold - If you lose health equal to or greater than this value in a damage-enabled area, you'll hear a painful grunt.
