I sold some lindens but was wondering how long does it take to get the real money in my pay pal?

I sold some lindens and was wondering how long does it take to process them so the real money goes into my pay pal so i can put them in my bank account.

How long does it take to process credits?

Process-credit requests can take three (3) to five (5) business days (Monday-Friday, not including U.S. holidays) to be completed and sent to your PayPal account.

We strive for quick turnaround; however, holidays and the volume of transactions can affect processing times. Improvements to the system are intended to reduce the processing time for most requests by the end of 2013.

Normally* up to five working days (that is, days not counting weekends or holidays), assuming that you have made a credit transfer request after selling your L$.  If you simply sold your L$ without making a credit transfer request, the $$ will still be in your USD balance, waiting for you to do something -- either transfer them out to PayPal or pay LL for land fees, usually.

* If you scroll back through the recent questions here in Answers, you'll see that several people have had trouble having $$ transferred to PayPal within that 5 day window.  There's some question about whether the problem is in LL's accounting system or in PayPal.  If you have been having trouble, try making a free call to the LL billing office to ask.  If you have a non-technical issue related to billing concerns, you can call the Linden Lab billing team at the following toll-free numbers at any time 24/7:

In addition to the other answers, remember that just selling $L does NOT automatically transfer the proceeds to PayPal.  The proceeds go to your $USD balance.  Then you have to execute a "process credit" request and then sit back and wait.

why does it take 5 days when you can take the money within seconds.. i sold my lindens on the 20th of april.. it is now 29th april and the process is still going through.
