Been off SL for 2 weeks...go to login it puts avi at my house then sez searching for update + freezes

SL viewer2  HP microsoft 7    tried loggin at last location not my home then back at home+ its still searching for update

and I dont know why...never been kiked out etc...you can never go on vacation apparently.

Hi Chester,

You've not provided us much information to work with. Come back to your question and edit it via "Options" over there on the right. What viewer are you using? What OS (Mac, Windows)? Stuff like that.

Freezing during an auto-update sounds suspiciously Mac like, though I never got as far as rezzing.

If you are on a Mac:

• Turn off auto-updates via Preferences->Setup->Software Updates: select "Download and install updates manually".
• Get the update here.
• I'll also recommend that you delete the viewer's Saved Application State folder. Instructions for doing so are at the bottom of this page.
