Is it still possible to have a group that does not count towards your allowed group ,?

people who have been in sl for quite a while no longer are able to join many groups because they have filled up the amount allowed.  so my question is can you still join a group and it not show up or count as one you are allowed? about a year or so ago I heard there was but never knew how to join such a thing .

Ralph,

Any SL Group that you join counts towards your 42 Group limit. No tricks allowed.

However, many people also provide minion management & notification options using 3rd party group services such as subscribe-o-matic or HippoGROUPS. In these cases you "subscribe" to this vendor's or artist's notification service and will receive all the fun and joy of minion spamming without affecting your SL Group count.
