how do i delete my account? on second life?

First, make sure you don't owe any money.  Check your $L balance and make sure it's not negative.

Second, if you own any mainland or a Linden Home, sell or abandon it.

Then go to Account, on the left side of your Dashboard page on this web site, at the top.  The bottom choice under Account is "Delete Account."   Follow that link.

However:  I would advise you NOT to delete your account.  Many, many people have come back to SL, and wished they had their old accounts back.  If you have a Premium account, just downgrade it to Basic.  That way, it will still be here, when and if you decide to return to Second Life.
