just let cheaters win contests?

For a while I use to enter competitions like 'best in black' etc and then saw the way voting went, so stopped worrying about it.

Another way I see contests run is to have 'people pay to vote' ...not sure who gets this L$'s but seems dodgy to me also. 

The thing I do like about the contests though is avis getting into the theme, that is fun.

Are you really bored. Gleanr? Is replying to a dead thread with a screed of boring and unoriginal text the best use of your time you can think of? Or did you get a school assignment to get published (without using a spelling checker) on the internet?

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to point out the Weighted contest board by Blaise Timtam available on the marketplace. It solves the contest issues in second life.. Well done to Blaise for building a better contest board.
