Checking before abandoning home

Hello,

I am new to Premium and have a Quad home.  I am looking to get a different home but would like to check before abandoning what I have.  Is there any way I can do this?  The only option I see is to go to my home.  I'm hoping that I am just looking in the wrong place.

That's right.  You cannot abandon land without going there.  That's a good thing, because people who own more than one piece of land copuld easily abandon the wrong one if they didn't have to actually see what they were abandoning.  So ....

1.  Go to your land.

2.  Pick up all your stuff, one item at a time, and put it back in your inventory.

3.  Open World >>>> About Land  >>> Objects and check the numbers there to verify that you haven't forgotten to pick up something.

4.  Click the General tab in About Land and then click Abandon Land.

Then you are free to register for a different Linden Home or to go and buy or rent yourself another parcel to live on.
