What zoom crosshairs?

I have been here for 7 years and can only think of three things that you might call "crosshairs."

1. The little reticule that is at the middle of your screen when you are in mouselook view.  It shows where you are looking and id used for things like aiming a weapon.

2. The Look At markers that you can activate to indicate where other people are looking.  Those are not particularly reliable, but are often used by people who are sensitive about having other people pay attention to them.  You can activate or deactivate them in Preferences >>> Privacy >>> LookAt.

3. The real crosshairs created when you use a beacon (CTRL+Alt+Shift+N) to locate a sound source, a scripted object, or a particle source.

If you want to provide extra information or need to clarify your question, click on the Options link in the upper right corner of your question and select EDIT. Please do not start a new thread. Doing that makes it hard for us to see what other people have already suggested, and it pushes other residents' questions off the page.
