Will any currently-available mesh clothing work after LL introduces Fitted Mesh?

If some will and some won't, how can I tell the difference?  I don't want to buy clothes that I can only use for a few months, but I don't want to have to completely stop shopping, either.

The best places to ask are in the Fashion and Mesh forums, where you'll get feedback from people who are making and selling mesh clothes and are up on the current state of things.  I suspect that you'll only know what's fitted and what's not for sure by reading what's posted on a vendor or advertized in Marketplace. I'd be very surprised if anything you bought today wouldn't still work, though.

I don't think all existing mesh clothing content will break...but it still won't be re-sizable, and it won't fit shapes that aren't made for it, just like things are now.

Still, with Fitted Mesh on the horizon, I would restrain my shopping fever for a month or two...or at least try to stick to non-mesh clothing.  There are still tons of beautiful outfits out there that use no mesh at all.
