Muted avatars no long invisible?

This is a new feature, apparently and one that I dont care for at all. I much prefer not to see bad acting or even good acting child avies in Secondlife at all. Please make the muted avatars invisible again. This ruins my enjoyment of SL as an ADULT player using an ADULT avatar.

To make them invisible you must derender them.  If you are using the SL viewer it is only temporary and will go back to normal once you tp off the sim.  Some third party viewers allow you to add them to a black list so they will never be rendered until you remove them. When you derender an avatar, they cease to exist for you and you won't see their chat either.  Firestorm has this feature.

Avatar impostors were updated, so that they look a little less like cardboard cutouts. The gray impostors were casualties.

Using an SL viewer and still seeing blocked avies even after leaving sim, returning and dumping cache and logging in again. Obviously the invisibility no longer works when avies are blocked/muted. This needs to be fixed.

It's still working using firestorm and singularity, that I can see anyway. If it's the official viewer you're using though, I think you may be stuck with their "fix", as it's only a temporary solution in those viewers. It's not intended to be permanent. So if you really want them gone, I wouldn't use a viewer without that feature.(and the lab won't likely see your request to fix it here, unfortunately)
