Hi Cindy,

It's possible/probable that the local copy of your inventory list has been corrupted. Here's a wiki page dealing with that issue...

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Inventory_loss

Follow the instructions in the first of the Common Solutions, "Clearing Second Life's cache".

Also, make sure you're running the latest version of the SL Viewer, things have changed since you left.

Good luck!

i left second life for almost 6 or 7 months and i've came back in world but most of my folders in my inventory is empty... all the hairs i've bought and everything. will i need to get another copy of it?

This is the second time this has happened to you.

Did you try the solution you were offered last time?

try changing the folder where your cache download.

open the viewer and go to the menu Me > Preferences > then to the tab Advanced > button Browse > and choose another folder in your computer, for example "C:\secondlifecache", or other one that you would like.

sometimes that helps to download again all your inventory.

There's something strange with this. In the orginal thread, she tried the suggestions and then she posted that it didn't work. In this thread, she said she'd forgotten about the other thread and went off to try the suggestions there - again.

There's something not right.

I'm puzzled also.

If you have followed step by step all the suggestions listed here:

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Inventory_loss

then the only thing I can think of is for you to contact support.

A question though, did you cancel and then ask for this account to be reactivated?
