Why is Marketplace saying I can't buy items due to age level?

My account was created YEARS ago, and age verified back then.  All of a sudden, friends can't buy even the simplest gifts for me (like a necklace) from Marketplace because they get a pop up saying my avatar can't accept adult items. Excuse me? Proprietors, puhleeze. I'm an adult and can buy the kinkiest, most perverted items out there, but they can't buy a necklace for me? Somebody explain this FAST because I happen to like gifts.

Did you check to be sure that the dropdown menu at the top center of your Marketplace screen says that you have selected an Adult preference?  It may have been reset during a maintenance period, or you may have changed it without thinking. (I do that kind of thing  and then end up saying "D'uh" when I remember later. :smileyembarrassed: )  Also check in Preferences >>> General to be sure that you set an Adult preference there.  If both of those look OK and you still have a problem, submit a support ticket.
