How do I make a Conference call?

To start an ad hoc IM conference:

1. Click the People button on the toolbar.
2. Click the MY FRIENDS section.
3. Use Shift-click or Ctrl-Click to select friends for your IM conference.
4. Click the IM or Call button.
5. Type something in the IM chat box to start your IM conference.
6. Press your Enter key.

Note: Ad-hoc conferences are limited to twenty participants.

To start a conference chat:

• Go to Contacts Tab → Friends and select each friend you want to include in the conference by pressing Ctrl + left click on mouse on each friend’s name and then press the IM/Call button.
• Go to the people panel→ Friends tab and select each friend you want to include in the conference by pressing Ctrl + left click on mouse on each friend’s name and then right-click and select IM.
• If you already have an IM going with someone and want to add another resident, go to inventory→ Calling Card folder and drag that resident’s calling card into the IM.

Note: Conferences are limited to twenty participants.
