Can anyone help me with a weapon draw and sheath script?Since I don't know what im doing

Ok I am new at buildering weapons and all, but i tried with some scripts off the maraketplace but nothing really works. So I am asking how I would make a weapon script that sheathes and draws my weapon since to be honest ive looked up how to make scripts but I don't know how to actually do it.

That's usually a very simple script.  The magic is that you have a sword in your hand all the time, but you only make it visible when you want to use it.  So, the script is basically nothing more than a few lines to switch the sword from 0% alpha to 100% alpha or vice versa.  Take a look at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlSetAlpha
