is anyone having issues with the sl view update

Sometimes when my computer seems hung up like that, it's waiting for me to give it permission to proceed.  See if there isn't a notice box hidden somewhere.

If you are talking about the Viewer Program Download activity it seems to be working for me here in Orange County, California. You can see if there are major issues on the internet by looking at this link:

If you are having starting up the Viewer, please give specific status and error messages.

The last time I downloaded a new version of the viewer it took a lot longer than previous versions, then I realised I had an On Demand TV service running in another window. Oops! What else have you got running - something heavy on the broadband service?
