Why does my Viewer keep crashing?

Why does it?

1) it can't be my computer (I have a high end gaming tower)

2) it could be my connection, BUT, I have a fast enough connection to warrent a 2GB file download in 10-15 minutes

3)this so-called viewer trottles my connection (meaning, it makes the conenction go crazy, like how skype calling does, sometimes forcing it to disconnect)

I don't know, there isn't enough information here.

Regarding 2. however, note that Second Life can put as much strain on your connection as having THIRTY simultaneous downloads. It's bandwidth, not speed, that matters.

As Freya said, not enough info.  The Broad Band connection is the weakest link. LL get blamed far to much and unless there a firewall or a damaged piece of code the computer is usually not the problem. Try clearing the cache first then either a ping test or a clean installation of SL If it still persists I say its your BB. But so little info IM in the dark.
