I  hear one can also get demoted in the forums. For example when you cause them brainless automatons (moderators) some grief. That should explain my lowly rank since I have to put up with their completely pointless accusations every other week or so. And my replies are obviously way beyond their grasp since they never answer anyway. But a couple weeks later I get to read the same **bleep**e from another mod. So I'm stuck as as the eternal (whatever my rank may be now).

No need to be involved in the answers section to get an Advisor rank. I had no posts there at all when my rank was raised to an Advisor. I was scratching my head what did it? The only thing what I can think of is that when one has a certain number of kudos for their posts the rank will be upped from Member to Advisor.

So all Members interested to get (cool :smileytongue:) Advisor rank should start posting good posts to those forum areas where kudos are enabled. Good luck!

They don't have Kudos here and you had to be in sections that used them..

 

I remember realising that i was not ever gonna get higher than member..Because i am in general when i post up most of the time..So it was kind of an "Oh well" thing for me..

The short time i gave it any thought i mean hehehe

i don't even know if i have ever gotten one kudo?  Other than the snack bar..Which have to say i did like to eat those a lot.. Nom noms

Awwwwww, someone loves you Ceka - you have exactly 1 recent Kudo as far as I can see   You can check by clicking your name at the top of the page (where it says "Welcome, Ceka Cianci").  At the lower-right of that screen are gadgets with 'recent kudos to' and 'recent kudos from'.

I wouldn't expect you to understand but the phrase "attention whore"  is neither vulgar nor profane, nor is it in any way sexually explicit. It is a purely descriptive term which is entirely distanced from name-calling, is not an expletive, is most certainly not pornographic, does not embody hate speech and can in no way be interpreted as a threat of violence.

Which just leaves potentially offensive language, and the way in which you misuse and abuse language is considerably more offensive to me than any accurate epithet which might be construed - or more correctly, misconstrued - as such, by you.
