You might be a 35 Year old Money Launderer...... It's suspicious for a new account or a long time account to all of a sudden start to want to deal with certain thresholds of Lindens / USDs. We all deal with this and are better off for the wait. Anyway here is the schedule for limit increases for accounts that start to Trade or Buy Lindens.:

P.S. 24 hours is usually measured from midnight to midnight SLT time.

I can't buy anything on the LindeX because of billing and trading limits

See Billing and Trading Limits to check your limits and ensure that your difficulties are actually related to your billing and trading limits. Your level will be highlighted if you're logged in.

If this does appear to be the difficulty, you may request a review of your account to increase your limits by submitting a support case:

  1. Under What type of problem are you having? select Billing.
  2. Under Billing, select LindeX Billing and Trading Limits Review Request.
  3. Fill out the remaining fields as instructed, then click Submit.

We'll review your request and get back to you within five business days.

How to request review of your limits

You may request a review of your account to increase your limits. Please visit the support system and submit a ticket.

Select Billing -> LindeX™ Billing and Trading Limits Review Request

WE are not LL, nor is this a forum for communicating with them.  If you have good reason for wanting to change your limit you may wish to contact them.

(Wow, though!  I don't think I've even SPENT L$7,500 on my avatar in 6 years in SL.  Certainly spent more than that on rent and things, but not appearance.  Then again, I'm a man so 1 skin, 1 hair, 1 suit, tons of freebies or cheapies).

Twenty eight days after your first billing transaction with LL your daily/monthly LindeX buy/sell limits should increase to US$2,000, or about L$496,000.

There's another "tier" above that: buy US$10,000 (L$2,480,000) and sell US$5,000 (L$1,240,000).

If you don't have the patience to wait that long, perhaps you are right and you should go back to IMVU.

IMVU Credits can't be sold back to IMVU for RL currency.

"IMVU Credits are not redeemable for any sum of real world money or monetary value from IMVU at any time."

You can't sell them to anyone.

"You are hereby prohibited from reselling or distributing Credits without the expressed written consent of IMVU."

Doesn't sound like it would make for a very effective money-laundering process, does it?

P.S. Thanks for resurrecting this more than three-year-old thread.

*waves buh-bye*

You could have started a new thread for your question but log into your dashboard and then go here..https://accounts.secondlife.com/lindex/economic_limits?lang=en-US

It will give you your buying limits.

Wait.. wait what is going here right now? I blow my mind now... I really don't understand, is this  should buy or what?

Put the bong down and do this:

Figure about 10,000L$ (maybe $20US $40US) will be needed to get a decent head and body, decent being relative. Look around and find what fits you to your liking. Prices and mileage may vary. Granted, mesh heads and bodies are not cheap in price, but in the long run, they do add some prestige and ability to wear mesh clothing.

Baked on Mesh is another matter. Worry of it when you get what you are looking for.

Market buy is buying NOW. Limit buying is placing what you are speculating what the price could be. My advice: Do instant buy and avoid the waiting game with limit buying. You may not ever get what you are speculating.

you add your post to a 7 year old thread, totally irrelevant to your question.
I you post, open your own subject.
In the answer section questions are rarely the same, and once answered irrelevant to add different posts.

I understand now, sorry I was trolled and I really don't understand what are these two option, I understood. So that means if I use limit buying whatever I can speculating price? So I can get lower price to buy?

I agree with this poster here. I'm from imvu an a creator on imvu an im not use this limit. I need to buy large amounts of linden to do the things i need to do the things needed are more then 2500 linden for a day for you avatar here the limits are not realistic to the virutal needs. I cant do much with the limit this will be my third account here. I keep deleting it an returning to imvu. Now i see its posted that i can request for the limits to be lifted off well i click the links an it did not take me to a place to put in a request nor do i know were to go to do that. Its been two days since i been able to buy lindens. And so far all i can do is sit a room that we pay rent on an do nothing because we cant buy lindens. In all due respect i can sit in a room an do nothing for free on imvu an still not be limited to the money on my account. I cant shop here lol limited cant buy nothing i wounder how that good for the creators here thats here for business.  And as far as fraud go well i have prepaid card i dnt do over draft so what ever money i pay is their trasnaction cant go throu if the money is not their. But if i cant get this limit lifted i will again be deleting this account an going rite back to imvu.

IM havieng the same problem. Its like this Linden Labs is like a government. It has absolute contoll of what gos on. They want to keep controll of the exchange rates to keep items and such at a value they seem fit. All countrys do this China prits more mony to keep there products cheep and the people poor and controlable. The Positive is that they dont do that. This is suposed to controll inflation. If you wanted to idk why you would. Buy like a 100000$ worth and just put it out there then the Linden would be worth less I gess. Hope I made sence.
