Im wondering how to get married in SL ? and how to get pregnant.

Marriage and having kids in SL is all about role play.

To get married, it would be wise to find a caring man and fall in love. :smileyhappy: Once you both decide to get married, first of all, you can partner. Your names will officially appear as "partner" on both your profiles.

Partnering

Second Life couples can make their relationships official. Whether you're married or just connected, you can designate your partner on your profile inworld and make your relationship visible to the rest of the community.

Note: Creating a partnership costs each partner L$10.

Partnership is a vanity display for social purposes only does not alter inworld permissions, group abilities, support benefits, and so forth. For example, if you are on a Concierge account and your partner is on a basic account, he or she will not receive Concierge service.

Partnering also does not affect your Second Life username. Nor does it entitle you to share their Second Life account; this is against the Terms of Service.  For more information, see Sharing or transferring Second Life accounts.

How to make someone your partner

To make someone your partner, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Partners page.
2. Enter your Partner's First and Last Name.
3. Type in your Proposal to your to-be partner. It can be a love letter, song lyrics, or whatever suits the both of you best.
4. Click Send Proposal.

   

Your potential partner is notified at the email address linked with their Second Life account. He or she has seven days to accept. Once the proposal is accepted, your names appear in one another's profiles.  

The partnership email should be received in seconds. Please check your spam folder and other email filters to make sure it isn't being hidden.

If you receive a partnership request you wish to decline, you can do so on the Partners page.

If you want a wedding ceremony in Second Life, just type "wedding" in search on the marketplace. You'll find everything you need, from the gown to the cake, including wedding venues and wedding planners. 

Now, to get pregnant, all you have to do is to buy a pregnancy kit, you will find plenty of them on the MP too. Just type "pregnancy" or "pregnant" as keywords.

Besides adding someone to your profile as your partner, everything else is just "roleplaying" and pretending. Some people chose to buy a wedding dress, a cake and throw a party for all their friends. Others just put each other as partners in their profiles. Some play the whole pregnancy for 9 months, others cut it too 3 weeks because they get bored and some even just go to the marketplace and buy a baby right away and leave it sitting in the garden.

well partnering in sl is viewed as sorta engageing/marring but there are people who host weddings and help guide you along the way. as for the kids there are tons of huds,attachments, and babies you can buy such as the popular zooby babies. if ya want a realistic wedding in world contact lorie catnap, she does the whole shabang, reception/church/after party/cake and knows a whole lot more than i about where to get the things needed.

My user name is 2jg4. How would you send a proposal to someone that has no last name in the user login?

Just send your proposal using your "fiancé" username (not a display name). Entering a last name is not mandatory. If I had to send you a proposal (), I would just enter 2jg4, or 2jg4 Resident.
