Shaia Slade Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 I was running slow so I logged and tried to relog...the send crash report comes up and then nothing.....i did a clean reinstall of the latest version......and it gets as far as trying to log on and crash!!! Dillon Levenque Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 If you did a clean reinstall and you indeed loaded the latest FS version (4.4.2) then it seems probable that the viewer is not the issue here. Have you looked at your Internet connection? Maybe go to speedtest and check connections upload/dowload speeds. Ted McGregor Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 Hmmm .. since the TOS-change .. have you agreed succesfully to the latest one ( can't remember which version or date ) ? If not so , or in case it failed, try starting SL with a different viewer and agree to the new ToS before using Firestorm. Helped in my case ( had to use Exodus-viewer to agree to ToS-first ; after that latest Firestorm continued to load as usual ). This does not apply if your agreeing to latest ToS went fine.
