you need to abandon your land.

you probably can see where it is, from your dashboard at the left side "land manager"

one time you are there, click on the land tab at the top of your screen and you ll see a box at the bottom of this new window with "abandon land"; Tick that and then go back into the website to downgrade

You can see the land(s) you own going to your dashboard > Land Manager > my mainland. Your premium properties are listed here.

If it's a Linden home, you cannot sell it. Just TP there using the SLurl showing on your dashboard. Open the world menu and click "abandon land". It will be immediately removed from your properties and you ill be able to downgrade to a basic account. Note that even if time remains before your next due date, there will be no refund.

If you own a parcel on mainland, yes you can sell it. Use this forum to advertise and find someone who will purchase. If you don't bother to sell, use exactly the same way I mentioned above to abandon the parcel.
