How to attach a photo to a notecard?

I'm applying for a job and on the application, it asks for three photos.

I've taken three screenshots of my avi, but I'm not sure how (or if) I can get those pictures from my desktop to my inventory, and from my inventory to the notecard. 

Is there some way to take inventory-friendly pictures that I'm unaware of?

Here are the steps for dropping in a picture into a NC application:

1) Rename the 3 pictures in your Inventory. Also make sure the pictures are transferable.

2) Open the NC you are filling out.

3) Drag the picture from your Inventory to the place in the NC you want the picture link to be stored.

Save the NC before doing any further work on it

The pictures will not expand and be displayed in the NC. Only their link will be present. Your employer to be will click on the links and the images will be made available to them.

Adding to Karen's perfect reply, if the images are saved on your hard drive, you must upload them to your inventory (cost is 10 L by image). You can use the + at the very bottom of your inventory window to do so, or choose Build > Upload > Image.

And in further amplication of Karen's great answer, any texture, script, object, animation, notecard, or sound that you embed in a notecard must be full perm, not simply transferable.

While taking a snapshot direct to harddisk saves the L$10 and can be useful there is also the option to store them directly to your inventory World > Snapshot > Save to my inventory (L$10)
