Question

I recently was charged $8 by Linden Labs for  "Recurring Mainland Fees (up to 1024 meters): $8"

The thing is, I reverted to a free account before my account cycled to pay for membership again, which before I could ot that I had to let go of all owned property.

I even checked my account online here and it says I own 0m of land and also have 0 to use and that my next billing date will be August 8th. WHY am I being billed for something I do not have NOR own?

I do NOT want these fees reoccuring. This is why I reverted to the free account in the first place. Will someone please explain what must be done to make this BS stop?

Go to your Dashboard and, under Land Manager, look at Group Land to see if you still have land associated with any group.  If any of your land was deeded to a group, abandoning it doesn't automatically remove that amount of land from being donated to that group (you have to do it manually) and, consequentially, you'll still be charged for it.

See this... link.

Hope this helps ...Dres
