How can I readily enter c cedila in these forums?

Hmm... either post to the French forums...  (Parlez-Vous fran*bleep*ais?)  :smileysurprised: :matte-motes-big-grin:

.. or make a picture of the "c cedilla" and insert it into the text. :matte-motes-big-grin:

.. or fake it by using something similar looking to the "c cedilla", such as:

ҫ (Unicode: U+04AB) Cyrillic Small Letter Es With Decender  :matte-motes-nerdy:

.. or one might want to make a BUG report "Please, let us post 'c cedilla' letter also on English forums"  :matte-motes-yawn:

I cannot invent any more other ways to do it.  shrug-1.gif  :smileyvery-happy:

Does this letter have a dark hidden secret?

Did it get caught ҫopulating  with other letters in the alphabet?

What is that little appendage hanging down?

The rudeness that it should so openly expose itself for all to see!

Has it no shame?

I expect the Romanian T-comma is banned in these [English language] forums too!

Awe . . . hasn't installed the European Union Expansion Font Update though, to be able to test it.

ETA It's such a shame the Marshallese n-cedilla doesn't display properly because of its conflict with Latvian orthography.

I have always lamented the demise of the Interrobang !

Maybe we need to apply for Linden Lab employee powers to be able to enter that letter.  :smileysurprised:

They themselves were able to enter that character in the forum title and description.

In the small text it is difficult to see did they actually use the said character or something similar instead.

So I enlarged one word. And yes, it indeed is the 'forbidden' character there!

Linden Lab sure has some weird rules.

I wonder are they even aware of this nonsense 'forbidden character' rule?

well, i can tell you that when i post in the french forum, its really annoying. the c cédille is a normal letter for us, and its on our keyboard.. and of course, i always forget about the fact it  is not allowed.. its hard to put myself in french bad ortograph mode.. so indeed, everytime.. i forget and put c cédilles when they are needed. Then it tells me i cant post it like that... then, i have to find them all, to change them to C. What is something a lil irking because its not correct but well, its not lethal either... And its not easy to find all these c cédille in the middle of sentences.  So i wont on top try to find some working unicode keys... I try now my best to remember before posting and using C instead of c cédille... but i feel it's something really weird that the SL forum doesnt allow this letter, while it allows some other unusual letters (i mean not english ones). But i guess the c cédille is prob not the only one letter forbiden anyway.

Let's see.. In Windows 7 that character is already in the operating system by default.

Trying to post the characters here (upper case and lower case):

Ț  Unicode: [u+021A] Latin Capital Letter T With Comma Below

ț  Unicode: [u+021B] Latin Small Letter T With Comma Below

 [EDIT]

It works. Not illegal character.  :matte-motes-big-grin:

As I mentioned, the sarcmark doesn't work here.

Awe . . . it's an English language forum; we don't need no stinking foreign diacriticals.
