How can I try the new items before I purchase them?

Many merchants offer "DEMO" version of products for you to try. This is especially important with mesh clothing. The Demo versions are usually L$0 or L$1 in cost and allow you to see if they are right for your avatar shape and look.

These may be found in-world in a merchant store and also in the MarketPlace.

which has a tryme stand to try on items before buying.  Don't know if other stores have such a stand as well.
