Rod Humble's avatar visits 1920s Berlin

Recommended Posts

He was also in Bay City yesterday for a chat with the citizens of that rich ppl ghetto. :smileyindifferent: Some questions that sprang to my mind about his 30 minute visit to his own product:

- did he try to cross multiple simborders with a vehicle?

- did he try to locate a certain object with Search?

- did he atttempt to engage in a big group IM chat?

I can just hope you Berliners managed to lag him down so badly he will finally invest some manpower and money for badly needed server upgrades.

They did, exept its usually early in the morning in the police station drunktank ;)

Luckily we have a rule for our police to look the other way when it concerns Lindens.

We didn't want them trying to eject the folks that used to pop in now and then to help us with technical issues.

I'd be more impressed if he followed the rules, even if you had no intention of enforcing them in his case. I wouldn't have been that kind, linden or not, lol.

I'd also be more impressed with his visits to the grid if he didn't stick to places that are super popular. It would be neat to, once again, see lindens popping up just about anywhere, and everywhere. These days it's a rarity to see them outside of any well known and very popular, or heavily populated, sims.

Glad to see he's still willing to visit at all though.

Second Life is saved!   Our plummeting hopes soar once more!

Naturally, to thwart any hint of favouritism towards owner-promoted sims in the forums, I am sure our zealous CEO is currently visiting the rest of the grid as I write.

Rounding this exhausting days work off  with a spell on the chat support phones, I have no doubt.

He's the current SL Jesus.

Also CEO of LL.

You beat me to it... he does look a little like Jesus, now that you mention it.

I thought they were all called Linden. Geek Linden, Nerd Linden, Useless Linden, Scaredofgirls Linden  etc

His avatar name is Rodvik Linden, his RL name is Rod Humble.

He calls his look that of a greek philosopher.

Isn't he the one who said, "If I were not Alexander, I would be Diogenes?"

I don't think I've ever heard him say a thing.

Disney.com says that he speaks on holidays when dressed as a cowboy, so he wouldn't be the first LL CEO to ride roughshod over the residents.
